What should I check before requesting AC service?
Check that your thermostat is set to cool, the temperature setting is below the room temperature, and the air filter is not visibly clogged. If you see ice, leaking water, or signs of electrical damage, turn the system off and request service. Avoid opening electrical panels.
Should I repair or replace my air conditioner?
